Salesperson of the Year

My hubby's company has a sales award banquet every year in January where they honor the star performers from the year before. After a wonderful dinner, the presentations started (yawn...). They try to get a little creative with these things to make them a little more entertaining so the spouses will stay awake. I mean, really, talk about toilet paper and cleaning supplies can be either really, really boring or really funny, if you know what I mean. This year's business sales were pretty tough all around, so it was anybody's guess who would get the "top prize". Scott told me earlier in the week that it definitely would not be him, but another salesperson in the company. Well it turns out my sweet guy, who worked his butt off (literally!) was awarded salesperson of the year for the AZ region for a second time! He was very surprised. He received a nice bonus and flies to San Diego next month to have lunch with the owner of the company. What an honor it was for him to be recognized for all his efforts. Congratulations honey!

Congratulations to Scott. That's wonderful. Do you get to go to SD with him?

I do, but not on the company's dime. Scott bought me a ticket so we will be spending the weekend on Coronado. I can hardly wait!

Scott Moore...That bum!?! This is what you always use to hear about Scott...Yeah, Right! Scott has always given 110% to his career going all the way back to AMC. If he keeps on getting Salesperson of the year, he can keep interrupting our conversations at lunch to answer the phone or check an email. Way to go Scott, I'm proud of you.
