Why Am I So Busy, But Seem To Have Nothing To Write About On My Blog?

Hmmm...Good question. Perhaps I am feeling a little scattered. Between work, the boys, and Scott's new real estate ventures; the free time and the blog have pretty much flown out the window.

A few updates:
Christmas was wonderful! Tim and Vicki, and Tim's mom Ruth, came to visit us from Denver. Great to see them! Presents between the boys and us were scarce, because we made a deal that our big trip to D.C. was our Christmas. That was weird seeing such an empty tree.

We made it up to Utah to help Jean move into her new home. There was plenty of tile to be laid and painting to be had. But thanks to Ron and Andrea finishing up our half-done projects, Jean was really pleased with how it turned out. Ron's dad and brother were also there all day helping with the tiling. What a great family!

Scott has started a new venture flipping houses. I know, I know...the real estate market stinks, but the first flip went so well, that he already has another he is working on. He is so excited about this. You should have seen how his face lit up like a little kid on Christmas morning when he went through his new house tonight. Meanwhile, I will drink enough Maalox for the both of us. Wish us well, 'cuz maybe I can quit my job someday and help him with this instead.

Congratulations to Scott for making the President's Club at work this year! He works so hard to support our family. This means a trip to Puerto Vallarta for the two of us in May. Yippee!! Anyone know where I can get a good spray tan? You know what they say...fat stuffed in a swimsuit is okay as long as it is tan.

Congratulations on the flip, the award and showing up for dinner the other night. You are now 3 for 3 in my book.

Actually I have heard this may be the best time to get into the real estate market because it can only go up...so I wish you both well on your new venture. And glad you came to dinner this month...if you keep blogging my dad won't give you such a hard time at the next one...hehe
