This has been a sad week...We attended a funeral of an incredible young man/husband/father in our Ward that was killed in a car accident last week. Matt Bachrach was an incredible musician and all around creative talent. His little family is adorable and it makes me sad that his boys won't have their daddy for this life. My heart breaks for his wife, boys, and his soon-to-be baby boy. I know their faith is strong, but it is still very hard. Not sure why Heavenly Father has to take all the good ones. I guess he needs them for important work beyond the veil.
All this was right on the heels of my dad's older sister, Aunt Marie, passing; which seemed to compound my emotions a bit. She was a great lady and we will miss her. I am sad that I have not participated in more family reunions and visited with her more often-stupid me! My cousin, wrote an amazing tribute to this great lady http://conchodandy.blogspot.com/2008/08/good-bye-marie.html. Read it. Other cousins stayed after the funeral and got Marie's surviving siblings and nieces/nephews to talk about their early lives, the ranch, siblings and parents. They got about two hours worth of video and some wonderful memories. Thank you so much for doing this and all the other family history you are sharing. Your mom and dad taught you well. And it really helps those of us who have so few pictures of their dad and his siblings. What a wonderful heritage we all share!

That is sad....the poor family. I hope you had some sort of upbeat stuff though too. Come up and visit, we'll go to lunch! :)
I told you the video of the older generation was good! Worth every minute....I've watched it 2 1/2 times...
