A huge happy birthday to my sweet mother-in-law, my precious baby boy, and my big bro! We celebrated over the weekend with brats/dogs and a home-made German chocolate cake. It was dang yummy, if I do say so myself!
We missed Karhooty (and Susan!) and wished he could have been here. I spoke with him today and found out he has been suffering from the West Nile virus. Yuk! He says he is feeling a little better, but tires easily. Get better soon bro! Also 
a big shout out to Shorty (Karhooty's step-daughter) to get better too. She had knee surgery yesterday for a torn ACL. We hope to see her back on the basketball court next season. We haven't had the chance to see her play, but hear she is fabulous.

We haven't had the chance to see her play, but hear she is fabulous. We also celebrated the birthdays and went to our favorite Middle Eastern restaurant, Haji Baba's. Absolutely deeeelish! It is a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant/market in Tempe. A little short on ambience, but the food is the best.
