Costco is decked out in all it's holiday regalia and has stocked our favorite Nutella hazelnut spread just in time for all the caloric fun. Yum! (Nutella and banana crepes are incredible, but those will have to be another day.) So I felt like making peanut butter chocolate chip cookies the other day and said to myself, "Hey! I wonder what they would taste like if I used Nutella instead of peanut butter?" Hellooooo! These were so dang good (if I do say so myself)!. Here is the recipe if you want to try them.
Cream together until fluffy:
3/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
Add and beat until fluffy:
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
Mix in:
1/2 c. Nutella
Stir in until blended:
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking soda
Stir in:
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Enjoy!

I'm going to have to give this a try. We love Nutella! We took Nutella camping for s'mores. Yummy.
